Granite Cobbled Driveway

This driveway features reclaimed four & five inch blue granite setts with reclaimed kerbs and rainwater gulleys, the joints have been filled with stone chippings and bitumen in the traditional manner.

The overall impression is of a driveway that has been in situ for a considerable period of time and has blended in with its surroundings.  Perfect for older properties, which may once themselves actually had cobbles, but like so many other things they have been taken up or ripped out as they went out of fashion.

Taste has now gone full circle and today original cobbles and setts are again being specified by many of the leading landscape architects and garden designers.
