Sandstone Walling Stone
We developed a modular sandstone walling system when we rebuilt the Shawfield Mansion, consisting of cut sandstone walling blocks, sandstone coping stones, sandstone pillars and sandstone pillar caps. This flexible system can be combined together to create, retaining walls, boundary walls, garden walls and entrances to driveways.
The diamond cut and honed sandstone walling blocks are the same size as a standard concrete block in width and a standard concrete lock plus a brick in depth, allowing them to easily and cheaply backed up, when used for retaining walls, coping stones come in two sizes, such that any length of walling can covered without straight joints. Pillar stones are also of the same depth allowing courses to run straight through.
