Cobbled Driveways
Throughout the country, cobbles and setts were traditionally made from the hardest stone locally available, we ourselves have made extensive use of the blue granite setts, however there are many other colours of granite setts available and also other types of stone such as sandstone cobbles; all in an array of sizes. What is important is that they all match, were all taken up from the same job, and that no damaged setts are relayed. We also use reclaimed stone kerbs and cast iron manholes and rainwater gulleys. In this way your new drive will look like it has been there for a hundred years, the most suitable setts and cobbles will vary with the age and type of property you have and we will be happy to discuss the range of options with you.
