Fireplaces are one of the early successes of the project to rebuild the Shawfield Mansion whilst we were still looking for the sandstone to build the house we came across a scene that could have been Michelangelo's workshop. Our fireplace workshop is located in an area which has been renowned for its stone carving for over 1000 years with skills passed down from father to son.

Whilst we do have a small range of fireplaces available from stock, the rest are made to order as there is no standard sizes or material, please look through the designs you may choose any fireplace in any material, made to any size to fit your room, or we will copy an original for you or make a fireplace to your design.
For the Shawfield Mansion we customised four existing Georgian designs choosing our own stone and adding our leaf motif. A coat of arms was added for the dining room chimney piece.
