Created through a natural process taking 50 million years where minerals replace the cellular structure of an ancient tree, fossilised wood is a truly amazing material.

Our bowls are made from individual pieces (logs) chosen by ourselves for their colour, texture and bark preservation and of course size, some pieces from ancient tropical forests are enormous, you could make a bath let alone a sink.

To do this we travel to the mining areas where this is found and select the best pieces, no two trees are ever the same, but we often cut a number of sinks from a large piece of fossilised wood, and the colours ,size, markings and texture are the same but with slight differences, this gives a stunning effect when the basins are put together in a bathroom.

We can also produce bespoke items from fossilised wood such as countertops on which to mount basins and ornamental pieces of particularly unusual specimens.

Our stock is changing all the time & every item is by its very nature unique, these are some of the most beautiful objects we have ever found, the phrase 'wow factor' is simply not enough.
